Created in November 2019, the Drone Racer Talmont association offers to try out drone racing. Ready, Set ? Go!
Whether it is to take pictures at height or simply for fun, drones are more and more present in our daily life. But did you know that they can also be used to organize races? This is what Drone Racer Talmont offers! The association has been installed since November at La Guérite, opposite the automobile museum, on a plot of 7,000 m2, fully secure and equipped with various obstacles: “Our machines can go from 0 to 100 km / h in less than 2 seconds and go up to 150 km / h for the fastest. «
Always looking for new spots, we regularly organize sessions on other places, But always in security and respect for the laws

The association currently has around twenty
members. « Some were initially passionate about model aircraft. In comparison, the drone race is more immersive since we steer the craft with a helmet giving us the impression of flying. «
For beginners, the association advises on the
choice of equipment to buy and repairs in the
event of breakage. A « Fab lab » workshop is offered once a month. To begin with, it is not useful to acquire an overly efficient drone. We also have a flight simulator. Ideal for the first hours of flight! We can also give some lessons and do test flights thanks to a “school” drone, or to the simulator,
On request we build and realize a starting budget to start in the dicipline,
Recently we are proud to have among us an approved remote pilot in order to refine, perpetuate our projects and train future professional remote pilot,
